| Title | Counting the Days to the Election: A Lag Ba'Omer |
| Description | Sunday, May 22, 2022 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. We are counting each day to the local primary elections! Join the Montgomery County JUFJ Campaign Fund to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Lag Ba'Omer (a festive day during the 'Omer,' a season of counting between Passover and Shavuot). We have invited County candidates to join us, including Will Jawando, Evan Glass, Laurie-Anne Sayles, Perry Paylor, William Roberts, Kate Stewart, Fatmata Barrie, and Natali Fani-González. We will be gathering in-person outdoors at Brookside Nature Center's Woodland Amphitheater (next to Brookside Gardens) in a fun and relaxed setting with food, treats, and a campfire. We will be serving a Kosher dairy meal. Kids are welcome, and there is no cost to attend! In the event of rain, we will be switching to a virtual event over Zoom. We will still be providing food and s'mores for you to enjoy at home through two pickup locations in the afternoon. We will communicate whether the event will be in-person or online by 11:00 AM Sunday morning via email to all registrants. This webpage will also be updated to reflect whether the event will be in-person or over Zoom. Please see the FAQs at the bottom of the page for more details.
