| Description | Hosted by the Communist Party USA International Department and Peace & Solidarity Commission, the goal of this conference is to improve our internationalist and anti-imperialist work both on a local level, as well as on an international level. We believe that the struggle for democracy and socialism in the United States is inseparable from the struggle against imperialism abroad. This conference comes at a very important and dynamic time. US Imperialism is on the march at a rate that we have not seen in decades. The looming end of the unipolar world order is causing much distress among the ruling class and they are desperate to preserve their power. Whether it’s through the expansion of NATO into Eastern Europe, the continued illegal embargo of Cuba, the constant threats to China, or the increased military interference in Africa, this battle is being fought on all fronts. This conference offers an important opportunity for our Party to grow and learn from our comrades around the world. |
