| Title | DC Nurses Association One Day Strike |
| Description | The DCNA (DC Nurses Association) representing staff at Howard University Hospital have been in contract negotiations, but management wants to cut differentials leading to a loss of salary and refuses to increase staffing. This bargaining unit is made up of primarily 300 female African American nurses who have been dedicated to their patients all during the pandemic. Please see the flyer Howard Univ Healthcare flyer and DCNA Strike flyer (increase size for clarity). The workers are calling a one day strike this Monday, April 11 at Howard University Hospital at 2041 Georgia Ave NW. Washington, DC 20060 where picketing will start at 7:30 AM and continue all day ending at 8 PM. At 11 AM there will be a rally and we need to participate. Aaron will be reaching out to Howard University students. Support on the picket line during the day is also needed.
