The event will feature organizers from the Sunrise Movement, DC Young Communist League, Claudia Jones Club at Howard University, and Democratic Socialists of America–International Committee. This event will be centered on political education around imperialism, neocolonialism, revolutionary optimism, and youth liberation. We will be leading discussions pertaining to the main questions at hand: What is imperialism? Is imperialism the root of the climate crisis? How have anti-imperialist struggles shaped the world and why should young people care?
