| Description | RSVP: tinyurl.com/aupicket Join the union picket line on the last day of classes! The adjunct faculty, grad student worker, and provost division staff unions all must win a contract by May if these changes will take place in time for the next academic year. AU's current economic proposals include keeping graduate student workers at minimum wage and a $1.67 increase per week for adjunct faculty. Following the March 23rd protest, AU finally began discussing wages with AU provost division staff union on March 25th and are reviewing their proposals for the grad student worker union and adjunct faculty union. The April 7th protest was critical to continuing the pressure on AU, but we must escalate to win by May. Union members are coming together to picket on campus to win livable wages and the raises they deserve on the last day of classes, April 25th, from 11am-1pm, if AU administration does not reach an agreement on our Union Contract. |
