Join us on Saturday, April 23 from Noon-3 pm for a community rally on Freedom Plaza where we will take a #StandAgainstRacism. This year’s event will feature story sharing and calls to action from speakers & activists committed to civic engagement, racial justice and changing institutions, along with a community & civic engagement fair. The Rally will begin at approximately 12 pm, followed by a community fair until 3 pm. The event is free and all are invited to attend. The deep-seated systemic racism and inequities that disadvantage communities of color remain woven into the fabric of our institutions today—from civic engagement to economic development, from education to health care, and investments in communities. We must work collectively to root out inequity in our communities and in the institutions that compose our society, and demand justice and equity. We Can’t Wait: Equity and Justice Now!
